Darcy has been involved with athletics and fitness since early childhood. As a child she excelled in all sports, and would find her way on the Boy's All-Star teams. In High School Darcy recieved All-Conference and All-State honors in Soccer, Baskteball and Softball. She would go on to pursue her basketball career at Eastern Connecticut State University. At ECSU she was a 4 year starter and All-Conference Player, scoring over 1000 points and over 500 assists. It was at ECSU where Darcy decided to pursue turning her passion into a career and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health.
Darcy is a Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in Bootcamp classes. She takes a personal approach with her clients, learning what pushes them and what motivates them. Darcy has a deep understanding and appreciation that every person is different, and each client has their own mission. However, she strongly believes that each of us is capable of so much more than we think, and it is her job to help you figure that out.

FAs a former collegiate athlete, Bill can appreciate what it takes to reach your fitness goals, and is ready to help anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort!!
Bill played basketball for The University of Connecticut in Storrs, and completed his collegiate playing career at Springfield College.
As a Certified Personal and Group Fitness Trainer, Bill has been helping people reach their goals for over 7 years. His clients range from the “de-conditioned” to the athlete for sport-specific training!
Bill believes in Total Body conditioning, including Resistance, Cardio, Flexibility, Core and Cardio Kickbox training… and that, through consistent exercise and proper nutrition, you can “add Life to your years” and achieve any fitness goal that you set out to!
karen PURCELL

For the last twenty years Karen’s lifestyle has been focused on fitness, nutrition, and health. During this time she has competed in numerous races including 5K’s, 10K’s, half-marathons, a marathon, and triathlons. She has won or placed in a number of these races.
Karen wants to take her passion for fitness and help others achieve their goals. There are many different types of goals - getting started on the road to fitness, losing weight, getting stronger, or preparing for a specific sporting event. Whatever the goal is, Karen’s objective would be to work together and create a partnership to achieve that goal.
Karen has four children and is well aware of the challenges of balancing family life and carving out time to focus on fitness. Karen firmly believes that taking the time to consistently workout has a significant positive impact on her family and her overall well being.

brandon ROCCO
Certified Personal Trainer
Brandon Rocco has earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University. His concentrations included Sports Performance & Sports Management. Prior to his time at Mission Fitness & in college Brandon has worked in the health and fitness field for over 2 years as a personal trainer. Brandon has been involved with sports and fitness his whole life. As an experienced professional fitness trainer, he uses all sorts of techniques to create an individualized workout just for you.
Brandon’s background of fitness consists of playing Division 3 rugby for 3 years at Eastern Connecticut State University. Prior to his rugby days, Brandon was an amateur boxer for over 6 years and participated in the Golden Gloves. He uses his knowledge and expertise of boxing to create unique workouts that keep his clients body and mind constantly guessing. He is now here to make sure his clients can achieve long-term results based on realistic goals!

Matt grew up in an environment where fitness was just not an activity, but a way of life. After a successful basketball and baseball career, Matt began to get involved in fitness and weight training. After winning his first weight lifting competition in college, Matt never looked back. He had found his passion, and he was determined to make this his career.
As an experienced professional fitness trainer, certified through American Fitness Professionals and Associates, Matt loves what he does. He is an expert at the art of discipline, and his passion for fitness and nutrition is truly inspiring. Matt's personal work ethic with his own training is like no other, and it is no surprise that it carries over in his commitment to his clients. His passion for the field drives him to continue learning each day, and gain new techniques to challenge his clients.
Matt has worked with ALL FITNESS LEVELS, and with an open mind understands that every clients goal is different, and is able to work with them to achieve their "mission", no matter what it is.
Matt has competed in several endurance events including numerous 5K's, Relay Races, Triathlons, and Adventure Races. He has placed as a top finisher in all of these events, which reiterates his work ethic and drive to be nothing but the best in all that he does.
